PIJ Monitor Warranty & Maintenance Guide

I. Warranty Policy

1. Free Return/Exchange Period (Within 30 Days of Purchase)
If a quality defect occurs within 30 days from the date of purchase, PIJ offers free return or exchange service (round‑trip shipping costs are covered by us). Simply contact our after‑sales support team for quick processing.

2. Paid Repair/Exchange Period (4–12 Months After Purchase)
Between the 4th and 12th months after purchase, if a non‑human‑induced quality issue arises, you may still contact after‑sales service to apply for repair or exchange. During this period, shipping costs for returning and resending the product are borne by the customer, while we waive all repair and parts fees.

3. Exclusions (Limited Warranty Does Not Apply To)
The following cases are not covered under this warranty:

  • Removal, alteration, defacement, or damage to the warranty seal and/or original factory serial number.

  • Damage caused by improper installation, including but not limited to incorrect or inadequate power supply.

  • Defects resulting from long‑term improper usage.

  • Damage caused by prolonged display of still images (commonly known as "image retention" or "burn‑in").

  • Damage (including cosmetic blemishes such as scratches, spots, or dents), malfunction, loss, or personal injury arising from abuse, misuse, neglect, improper maintenance and storage, or acts of nature.

  • Damage occurring during transportation or movement carried out by the customer.

II. Daily Maintenance Tips for LCD Monitors (PIJ Careful Recommendations)

  1. Unboxing Cleaning
If you notice a small amount of white powder on the screen upon opening the package (which may occur during transportation), gently wipe it off with a soft, dry cloth.

  2. Proper Cleaning Method
When cleaning the anti‑static screen, lightly moisten a clean soft cloth with a small amount of water (or use a dedicated screen cleaning solution / anti‑static cleaning wipes). Never use harsh chemicals such as alcohol or ammonia, nor rough paper or abrasive fabrics, as these may corrode or scratch the screen surface.

  3. Avoid Excessive Pressure
Do not press hard on the LCD panel, and do not place heavy objects on top of the screen, as this may cause internal damage or pixel defects.

  4. Keep Away from Direct Sunlight
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight on the screen, which may cause darkening or "burn‑in" effects. Adjust the monitor's position or use a sun visor if necessary.

  5. Turn Off When Not in Use
If you are not using the display for a while, turn it off. This not only extends screen life but also saves energy.

  6. Manage Usage Duration Wisely
Try to avoid leaving the monitor on for several consecutive hours displaying the same static content. For extended use, occasionally show moving images or activate a screen saver to effectively prevent burn‑in.
